   My wife had had excellent service over a few years from similar hairdryer previously - so ordered same again - unfortunately after 3-4 uses after a few weeks it started to smoke and stopped working - returned to Amazon and immediate refund ( excellent response) - we have reordered similar unit on the basis that this experience was exceptional - currently awaiting replacement item so we will see

   This is incredibly lightweight, and I found it works better than my old, more expensive one. I mostly dry my hair, then use the round drying brush to straighten/smooth my hair and finish drying it. This works delightfully. Unfortunately, there is no surge protector on the cord. This brush has blown my fuse more than once and somehow once set my smoke detector off. None of my other hair (or other) appliances have done this at my current home. If I use the lower setting, I can use it a bit longer. I like it, so I would have it on in spurts, but it still blew my fuse quickly, so I had to return to my old drying brush. :( Not worth the risk if I start a fire!

   I bought this when my Revlon one died after 2 years. Love the color, pretty easy to use but i feel like it took so much longer to dry my hair than it should have. I have shoulder length fine hair so it definitely shouldn't have taken a half hour to dry. I sent mine back.

   I loved the hairdryer but 6 months after I bought it, it broke. I turned it on and it made strange, scary noises. I tested it a few times but the noise was bad. I only used it a few times a week and I have shorter hair so breaking so early is disappointing.
